The partnership comes just in time for Conspect to resolve a growing dilemma for Dutch municipalities. Conspect ontwikkelt agile applicaties op basis van Mendix

Conspect is een partnerschap aangegaan met Mendix. Voornaamste reden hiervoor zijn de vele mogelijkheden die het Mendix platform biedt op het gebied van agile application development. Pilot-gemeenten
Het projectplan beschrijft het proces van de bouw en de invoering van het systeem. De hoop is dat de ontwikkeling van één en ander in de eerste helft van 2010 kan plaatsvinden en dat de tweede helft van 2010 gebruikt kan worden om met een aantal pilot-gemeenten aan de slag te gaan. Uiterlijk in de zomer van 2011 is het systeem volledig operationeel en ingevoerd.

Selectieprocedure
De voorzitter van het bestuur van de dienstenorganisatie, Ir. Kramer, leidde het gesprek in de synode in. Hij schetste het proces en benadrukte de rol die gebruikers en deskundigen uit de kerk hierbij gespeeld hebben en zullen spelen. Ook ging hij nader in op het zorgvuldige selectieproces van de leverancier. Er was geen softwarepakket in de markt dat met enkele aanpassingen geschikt geweest zou zijn voor de landelijke ledenregistratie en daarom moest gekozen worden voor nieuwbouw.

Proof of concept
Mendix werd aangewezen als beoogd leverancier en kreeg de kans door een ‘proof of concept’ (bewijs van kunnen) een deel van het systeem als prototype te ontwikkelen. Ter synode lag het verslag van dit ‘proof of concept’. Daaruit blijkt dat het door Mendix ontwikkelde concept qua gebruiksgemak en prestaties ruim aan de gestelde eisen voldoet.

Adviescommissie
De adviescommissie ledenregistratie (commissie van deskundigen) was zeer positief over het gevolgde traject en het projectplan. Tevens adviseerde de commssie in het vervolg van het traject veel vrijwilligers in te schakelen.

Bespreking
De onderdelen van het nieuwe systeem werden gepresenteerd aan de synodeleden, die zo kennis konden nemen van het programma en enkele mogelijkheden in het gebruik. Vanuit de synode werd positief gereageerd op het projectplan en de presentatie. Vragen waren er met betrekking tot de achtergronden van de leverancier, technische achtergronden en financiële risico’s.

Systeem
Het te ontwikkelen systeem (LRP) kent vier functionele onderdelen:

• Kerkelijke structuur en organisatie
• Ledenadministratie
• Bijdrageadministratie
• Ondersteuning pastoraal en ander kerkelijk werk

Gebruik
Het systeem wordt via internet gebruikt en men heeft naast een browser (internetverkenner) geen andere software nodig om de LRP te gebruiken. Het zal gebruiksvriendelijk zijn en de eindgebruikers moeten zonder opleiding het systeem kunnen gebruiken. Om dit te waarborgen zijn gebruikers van het systeem ook betrokken bij de verdere ontwikkeling.

Invoering
Onderdeel van het projectplan is ook de beschrijving van het testen van het systeem, de conversie en de implementatie. Over de conversie en de implementatie zullen de gemeenten in maart en april 2010 geïnformeerd worden. De informatie over het nieuwe systeem wordt onder andere op regionale avonden gegeven.

Kosten
De éénmalige kosten van de bouw en de invoering van het systeem worden geraamd op ruim 3,7 miljoen euro. In deze kosten zijn opgenomen de bouw van het systeem, de kosten van het projectteam en de inrichting van de dienstverlening. Er is een vaste prijs afgesproken voor de bouw van het systeem; omdat conversie en de uitrol afhankelijk zijn van een aantal factoren is in dit deel van de begroting een grotere risico-opslag opgenomen.

Besparing
De kosten van het systeem worden in de komende 10 jaar afgeschreven via de exploitatie van de dienstenorganisatie. De jaarlijkse kosten van de ledenregistratie worden voor de eerste jaren begroot op ruim 1 miljoen euro. Dat betekent een jaarlijkse besparing van bijna 280 duizend euro, die na drie jaar op zal lopen tot ruim een half miljoen euro.

Rotterdam – 26, november 2009 - Bouwfonds Real Estate Investment Management te Hoevelaken heeft bekend gemaakt dat na een uitvoerig selectieproces gekozen is voor Mendix voor de realisatie van het project Klantinzicht. Dit project betreft één geïntegreerde oplossing voor relatiebeheer, fondsbeheer en customer due dilligence.

Deze oplossing zal Bouwfonds Real Estate Investment Management digitaal inzicht geven in klantgegevens, klantacceptatie, klantbehoefte, productafname en klantdossier. Om dit mogelijk te maken zal hierin het reeds aanwezige document management systeem worden geïntegreerd.

Mendix krijgt nu de gelegenheid een bewijs van kunnen (proof of concept) te maken, waarbij een deel van het systeem als prototype gerealiseerd moet worden om op die manier aan de Protestantse Kerk een bewijs van kunnen te leveren. Dit betreft dus zowel een evaluatie van de aangeboden oplossing als het kunnen uitvoeren van het project als leverancier.

Mendix is tevens betrokken bij het opstellen van het projectplan dat -naar alle waarschijnlijkheid- in november a.s. aan de synode ter besluitvorming voorgelegd wordt. In dit projectplan is ook de begroting van het gehele project opgenomen. Als de proof of concept en de samenwerking op het gebied van het projectplan een positief resultaat hebben, kan bij instemming van de synode Mendix beginnen met de realisatie op beide onderdelen.

Hoopvolle verwachtingen

Projectleider Henry Kieskamp gaf aan dat de voorkeur voor Mendix met name heeft te maken met de prijs-prestatie verhouding van de aanbieding. Daarbij is nadrukkelijk ook gekeken naar het gebruikersgemak, de mogelijkheden voor de Protestantse Kerk op langere termijn en de structurele kosten. Kieskamp is er van overtuigd dat de Protestantse Kerk in Mendix de goede partner gevonden heeft en verwacht veel van de samenwerking.

The Arch Re Fac Program Portal allows a client underwriter to submit a risk and the application verifies whether that risk fits the terms of the facultative program. If the answer is yes, the price is instantly provided and the client can bind. Risks that do not meet the terms of the contract can be submitted for special acceptance without losing any of the input data. The application also communicates Arch Re Fac’s structure and price for the Special Acceptance to the underwriter, who can subsequently bind using an application function. Additionally, clients can endorse and cancel risks – either under the terms or the contract or Special Acceptances – via the Arch Re Fac Program Portal.

The new office suite is located at the M-level of a large office building, complete with 3 offices, kitchen and conference room. With the recent client growth and consequential staff additions, the move was needed.
