Why become a Partner?Becoming a Mendix Partner means receiving many benefits including all necessary support to develop and grow your Mendix business. Depending on your interest and line of business, you may benefit from the following: 1. Easy access to Mendix products allowing your customers to improve business Partner typesWe work together with a variety of partner types. Depending on your line of business, you may be interested in one of the following: - Reseller Partners Reseller PartnersMendix Reseller Partners primarily focus on reselling Mendix products, often in a specific industry- or solution domain area. As a Mendix Reseller, you are expected to possess a strong technical and consultative sales infrastructure. Some of our Reseller Partners also provide value-added services such as requirements analysis, solution design, project management or local training. The Mendix Reseller Program provides the tools and services necessary to resell Mendix products in your local market. We offer Reseller attractive margins and performance incentives. Reseller Partners have the right to use the Mendix Partner logo and are listed on the Mendix website. Our goal is to help you grow your Mendix business. To become a Mendix Reseller, you are expected to have at least two staff members trained in the following courses: - Mendix Essentials. Additional certificates in specific topics, such as SOA/Webservices or Mendix Sales Essentials, are recommended but optional. Partner profile examples are: strategy consultants, management consultants, process analysts, accountants, auditors, ERP resellers, BI resellers. Service PartnersMendix Service Partners provide expertise in strategy, solution design, implementation and customization services related to Mendix products. Mendix Service Partners are well-trained to translate customer-specific business challenges into clear solution requirements. Mendix Service Partners often possess their own consultative sales infrastructure. The Mendix Service Partner Program provides all the tools and services necessary to ensure successful implementation of Mendix software. We offer an extensive training program and ongoing support via phone, Internet and (on-demand) consulting. Certified Service partners receive a development copy of the Mendix platform, unlimited access to Mendix Online Developer’s Network (MXDN) and have the right to use the Mendix Certified Service Partner logo. Certified Service Partners are also listed on the Mendix website. In order to become a Mendix Service Partner you have at least two staff members trained and certified in the following courses: - X4 fundamentals Partner profile examples are: system integrators, out-sourcers, custom software developers, BI consultants Independent Software Vendors (Powered by Mendix)Mendix OEM & ISV Partners embed Mendix products with their own software solution or use it to augment an existing product offering. Mendix offers ISV’s a powerful and solid application platform for accelerating time-to-market, increasing flexibility and extending existing products with new functionality or rich-internet interfaces. Technology PartnersIn order to guarantee seamless extension of and integration with existing applications, Mendix closely works together with both industry-leading software vendors and regulating open standards bodies. Knowledge PartnersIn order to leverage existing knowledge, research and co-operate in developing and integrating pioneering technologies, Mendix partners with several universities and knowledge institutions. Examples of current partners are: Erasmus University Rotterdam, Technical University Delft, Tilburg University, Twente University, SenterNovem, Syntens. Partner levelsOur Partner Program distinguishes three partner levels, each with it’s own support & benefit package. Largely depending on your training and Mendix-related revenue, we recognize ‘Authorized’, ‘Certified’ and ‘Gold’ Partners. AuthorizedThe Mendix Authorized Partner level is the first and most basic partner level, designed for partners who are in the early process of discovering the opportunities of Mendix products. After successfully completing our introductory course (Mendix Essentials), you possess enough commercial and technical background knowledge to successfully advise your customers on the application of Mendix products. CertifiedThe Mendix Certified Partner level is meant for partners who have significant experience in the use and implementation of Mendix products. Mendix Certified Partners have successfully completed one or more certification courses. Mendix Certified Partners receive more benefits then Authorized Partners and are officially allowed to sell implementation & support services related to Mendix products. GoldThe Gold Partner Level is our premium partner level, designed for partners who have made it part of their core business to sell, support and implement Mendix products.
