Mendix Accelerates Expansion in Europe with Opening of New Office in Frankfurt, Germany

FRANKFURT, GERMANY – June 7, 2018Mendix, the fastest and easiest platform to create and continuously improve mobile and web applications, today announced the opening of a new office in Frankfurt, Germany. In addition to European offices in Rotterdam and London, Mendix’s new office in Frankfurt will support the company’s growth in the DACH region, helping bring the market-leading low-code platform to even more enterprises.

As enterprises invest to digitize their operations, demand for business applications is growing significantly faster than the capacity of IT organizations to deliver them. High-productivity aPaaS (hpaPaaS) solutions provide rapid application development (RAD) features for development, deployment and execution — in the cloud; and Gartner predicts that by 2020, at least 50% of all new business applications will be created with high-productivity toolsets.1

“The unprecedented demand for building and managing apps in enterprises has created a great opportunity for us to expand our global footprint,” said Derek Roos, co-founder and CEO of Mendix. “We’re helping enterprises across the globe transform their operations with apps, and I’m very excited to expand into the DACH market so we can help even more IT leaders successfully execute digital transformation initiatives.”

Market Leader Offers Unrivaled Cloud-Native Deployment Options, Partner Ecosystem

Mendix was named a Leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrants for High-Productivity Application Platform as a Service (2018) and Mobile App Development Platforms, and continues to be the only low-code platform to leverage containerization as a core technology so enterprises have the flexibility to run their apps on any Cloud Foundry or Docker-based environment, including Kubernetes, IBM Cloud, SAP Cloud Platform and Pivotal.

Mendix also recently announced strategic partnerships with SAP and IBM, through which both companies will resell the Mendix platform so enterprises can deploy apps built on Mendix seamlessly to the SAP Cloud Platform and IBM Cloud respectively.
