The buzz surrounding Mendix World 2016 has no indication of quieting down anytime soon. The two-day event, held on June 7-8 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, featured inspiring keynotes from prominent technology and industry thought leaders including best-selling author Geoffrey Moore, an IoT-themed hackathon, and the introduction of Mendix 7, the fastest and easiest way to build Smart Apps. Drawing in nearly 2,700 CIOs, business leaders and developers, Mendix World successfully balanced inspirational with practical, sparking serious discussions about the future of digital transformation. The conversation has only just begun.

On October 13, Mendix will host a Digital Innovation Seminar in London, called Mendix World Recap to further discussions surrounding IoT, big data, Smart Apps, and other emerging trends. The half-day event is aimed to bring insight on how these up-and-coming technologies can transform businesses and reshape the landscape of traditional experiences, driving unique ways to engage customers, partners, and employees by leveraging the technology of today.

Picking up where Mendix World left off, Mendix CTO Johan den Haan will re-introduce Mendix 7 at the event, sharing the details of our newest release and its ability to transform the way we build apps. Senior Director of Product Marketing, Nick Ford, will lead a demonstration of the product.

This special event will also feature customer presentations by Rod Willmott, Fast-Track Innovation Director at LV=Insurance and Mathew Stevens, Group head of IT at Staffline. Both will discuss their digital innovation journeys, with a focus on LV=Insurance’s three-tier classification system for managing innovation and Staffline’s digital transformation.
