Mendix Business Modeler 4.4.3 and 3.3.6 have been released
We have released patches for version 3 and 4 of the Mendix Business Modeler this week. These versions contain fixes for issues reported by our partners. You can find both installers and the release notes on the App Store: 4.4.3 and 3.3.6.
Important Note: if you have upgraded to 4.4.0 or 3.3.5 or applied the manual Firefox 18 fix, we highly recommend upgrading to 4.4.3 or 3.3.6 and removing the manual fix. Read on for an explanation.
As described in an earlier post, Firefox 18 introduced a very serious bug that we had to work around. That workaround was available as part of versions 4.4.0 and 3.3.4 and also as a line of JavaScript that you could include in the index file.
Unfortunately, we have now found that in certain forms and during navigation other problems can arise because of subtle timing issues. Those problems occur in all browsers, not just Firefox, and they are hard to reproduce.
We have now fixed the problem in a different way that completely avoids those timing issues. The new fix is part of 4.4.3 and 3.3.6 and we highly recommend that you upgrade to those versions if you already upgraded to either 4.4.0 or 3.3.5. Also be sure to remove the JavaScript code from your index.html if you applied that.
