Big Projects – Koopman and Axians
Logistics company Koopman was sending purchase orders from the Dutch customers and the delivery dates from the Chinese suppliers by e-mail by logistics Koopman and keeping data in Excel sheets. That was a labor-intensive and error-prone process. To gain more insight and control over the purchasing process, Koopman wanted to bundle this information about orders in one system. Koopman called on ICT service provider Axians to develop a portal. By using Mendix’s low-code technology in which all relevant data is available, they’ve streamlined the process between supplier and buyer and goal.

Thanks to this portal, dealers can better help their customers and manage their expectations. Appronto led the entire development process. Together with Urban Arrow, the necessary functionalities were researched and developed into this solution.
Sustainability & CSR
Foodprint Group has used the Mendix’s low-code platform to redesign and digitize its entire workflow. They also created a customer dashboard for real-time reporting and data visualisation.
With a major shortage of IT specialists and a growing number of status holders in the Netherlands, Motopp has come up with a solution. This company offers newcomers the opportunity to be trained as a software developer for Mendix. While experience in IT is not necessary, motivation, focus, and passion for IT is. Someone must have a strong analytical mind and numerical insight. Within three months, newcomers are retrained to become IT specialists and are helped to find a permanent job.
