See the impact our customers are making at Mendix World 2019
Every time we speak with one of our customers, we leave the conversation in awe and extremely proud of what they’ve accomplished.
That’s why we’re making customer stories such a big part of Mendix World 2019. We’ll have everything from customer-led panels, breakout sessions, and main stage keynotes, to our first ever customer award show to recognize the outstanding results our customers have achieved. If you’re a customer looking to hear what’s possible with low-code, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
Here’s a sample of some of the success stories you’ll be hearing at Mendix World 2019, April 16th-17th in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
The power of low-code
To serve their customer base of 17 million people, PostNL–the premier provider of postal and parcel services in The Netherlands– needed a system that supported their transformation from a mail company that handles letters and envelopes to a parcel company that handles boxes and packages. They needed to develop applications across functions like parcel routing, order management, and labeling and needed a system that was highly resilient and fully managed. Hear from CIO Gerrie de Jonge on how PostNL built a complex, robust, and mission-critical system to transform their business into one that processes 10 million pieces of mail and parcels every day.
PostNL isn’t the only company to experience change of this magnitude with Mendix. You’ll also hear from:
- Large insurance companies Zurich, Chubb, and Erie
- Dutch energy company Enexis
- Innovapost, the Information Technology Shared Services provider for the Canada Post Group of Companies
Modernizing legacy technologies
Stephen Ledwith, Vice President of Engineering at the cloud-based real estate brokerage firm eXp, knew that if they wanted to continue supporting a rapidly growing business, they would need to make some changes. Their transaction management system — which allows their fully remote workforce to create and process real estate transactions — needed to be re-architected using modern methods. Hear how Stephen and his team used Mendix to collaborate and modernize applications that serve as the backbone of a system that helps over 2 million brokers sell over 5.5 million homes annually.
Other companies will share similar legacy modernization stories, including ABN AMRO, Continental, and NHG.
New idea + new tech = new business opportunities
While many customers have adopted Mendix to modernize existing processes and create the next generation of applications, some have created products that are foundations for brand new business ventures.
For example, Liftinzicht, has created a solution that gathers elevator performance data through IoT sensors. With the help of machine learning and the Mendix platform, they offer customers the ability to optimize their process and budget around maintenance, saving money and reducing downtime.
Liftinzicht CEO Alderik Bos will be joined by VitaTech founder Jacques van der Krogt and Mark Roemers, CEO of AntTail, for a panel discussion on their experiences launching IoT products on Mendix that drive their businesses.
Share your story
Not only will we be hearing from over 20 customer speakers at Mendix World, but we’ll also be recognizing and rewarding the best of the best stories from all of our customers, potentially even your own.
