In their own words

Disrupting development: I am proud to be a part of a company that is disrupting the entire software development industry, making it easier for everybody to create apps. It is amazing to be able to contribute to this by creating low-code enabled, industry-specific solutions.

Industry-specific solutions: The Mendix Solutions Unit is focused on helping our customers leverage low-code with industry-specific solutions and templates. Whether across the banking, insurance or manufacturing industries, among others, my team is able to help solve any number of business problems.

Innovation at its finest: The culture at Mendix is open and innovative, inspiring me to keep learning and improving personally and professionally. We are always making sure to put the customer first, and that dedication is shown in the value we provide for them on a daily basis.

The opportunities are endless: One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned in my career is that you can truly create anything you want with software. The only real challenge that exists is making sure that you are creating something that provides value and helps the customer.

Inspiration from the past: Henry Ford is an inspiration for me. At one point he said, “If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.” What he did is really look at the problem his potential customers had and then apply creative thinking to solve this problem with an innovative solution.

Out of Office: When I am not in the office, you can find me relaxing at home with my wife and two kids or going on hikes.
