Mendix App Platform Update Notification: Mendix Business Modeler 4.2.2

on October 31, 2012

Share:

We are happy to announce a new release of one component of the Mendix App Platform: Mendix Business Modeler 4.2.2

This release supports Internet Explorer 10 on Windows 8, following Microsoft’s release a few days ago. Apps built with this version of the Mendix Business Modeler will be able to run in Internet Explorer 10 on Windows 8.

Additionally we took the opportunity to make some behind the scenes changes around access control and security of documents and cookies. As you model your apps you will not notice many differences with this release, however, when it comes to access control and security, it is highly adviseable to use the latest version of the Mendix Business Modeler. Therefore we recommend that you update to this version of the Mendix Business Modeler as soon as you can. And for users on an older version, who can’t upgrade to the current Mendix 4 series, we have also made those access control and security fixes available in the Mendix Business Modeler 3.3.3.

Last but not least, stay tuned as we start to roll out the first Mendix 5 features. The first of which – Company Administration, will be online this November.

Download the new Mendix Business Modeler 4.2.2 here.

Or, for users who want to stay on the older Mendix Business Modeler 3 series, get version 3.3.3 here.
