BOSTON and ROTTERDAM – April 3, 2014 – Mendix, the enterprise app platform as a service company, today announced the release and immediate availability of the Mendix Community Edition –a free, no-strings-attached edition of the company’s enterprise app Platform as a Service (aPaaS) for rapid application delivery and deployment. The announcement was made at Mendix World 2014, where the company also launched the Mendix AppCloud, a new set of cloud services that will transform the way enterprises build, share and use their custom business apps.
The Mendix Community Edition makes the same disruptive technology used by leading enterprises available to a global community of developers, power users and business experts. Now, anyone from start-ups to small business teams and individual developers can tap into Mendix to easily build and deploy working apps and share with others instantly.
