Meet the New MVPs of 2024

In 2024, we were excited to welcome 14 new MVPs to the program. These outstanding individuals have achieved a significant milestone by completing the MVP Candidacy process. Starting as Candidates, they needed to participate in various activities with a direct impact on the community and reached their requirements in record time.

The MVP Program has had an incredible year, with members contributing to over 3,000 activities, including 114 videos, 108 blogs, 270 pieces of product feedback, and 77 Meetups and many more. Highlights include Mitchel Mol creating 30+ blogs, Erick Souza releasing 50+ videos, Derek Gardiner organizing eight regional events, Anthony Dickinson presenting at the Tweakers Developer Summit, and Erwin t’Hoen publishing his Mendix book. Their efforts have made a remarkable impact on the community.

14 New Mendix MVPs

Bartosz Hetmanski

Mendix Solution Architect, Capgemini

Bartosz has been a specialist in low-code platforms since 2008 and a Mendix expert since 2022. He has architected enterprise solutions across multiple domains. Bartosz’s latest contribution includes establishing the Mendix community in Poland, organizing meetups, and sharing his knowledge through videos and articles. As a Pathfinder MVP, Bartosz is committed to fostering a collaborative, innovative environment.

 

 

Micha Friede

Academy Lead, CLEVR

Micha is a driving force behind developer education. With extensive experience in training and certification, he’s passionate about helping others grow. He’s delivered custom training sessions, guest lectures, blogs, and support community questions. As an MVP, Micha will continue to empower developers and support community growth.

 

 

Mitchel Mol

CTO & Expert Mendix Consultant, Blue Green Solutions

Mitchel is a seasoned Mendix consultant with over 14 years of experience. As a high-coder, he’s known for enhancing Mendix’s extensibility through Java and JavaScript solutions. His recent focus has been on improving Mendix’s testability, enabling developers to test as rapidly as they develop features. Mitchel supports the community through a LinkedIn newsletter, video tutorials, and organizing meetups.

 

 

Jan Schneider

Mendix Coach & Solution Architect, Maxon Low-Code

Jan is a skilled Mendix trainer who has empowered developers through training, coaching, technical enablement, and tutorial videos. As an MVP, he’s committed to sharing his knowledge via webinars, product tutorials, coaching sessions, and insightful blogs, all aimed at elevating the community.

 

 

Freek Brinkhuis

Principal Consultant & Architect, The Orange Force

Freek’s journey bridges the worlds of high-code and low-code. With a background in computer science and iOS development, he’s known for pushing the Mendix platform to its limits. From creating new widgets to building complex native applications and integrating industrial machines, Freek’s influence is far-reaching. As an MVP, he’ll continue sharing insights through blogs and the “No Deploy Fridays” podcast.

 

 

Yves Rocourt

Learning & Development Manager, The Orange Force

Yves’s path to Mendix began after a career in Medieval History. He’s now one of the driving forces in Mendix education, growing the community’s size and skillset as a manager of the Mendix Academy. Passionate about development and teaching, Yves’s blend of expertise and mentorship will continue to advance the Mendix community.

 

 

Ricardo Pereira

Lead Developer, Bool

Ricardo is a low-code powerhouse and the creator of the “Mendix With Me” YouTube channel. He’s also an active contributor to the Mendix Forum and organizes technical workshops in Portugal. As an MVP, Ricardo’s goal is to drive innovation and provide guidance for those seeking digital solutions.

 

 

Sharad Suryavanshi

Application Development Analyst, Accenture

Sharad is a front-end development expert who has made significant contributions to the Mendix Marketplace, including the Document Reader, ICS File Parser, and PDF Suite modules. Sebastiaan is focused on improving the Mendix developer experience.
