Realizing a significant market opportunity in standardizing financial data across markets, Dun & Bradstreet, among the world’s most trusted data and insight companies, set about creating a brand-new product offering. With a blended team of Mendix developers, IT specialists, and subject matter experts, and a project timeline of just six months, Dun & Bradstreet were able to launch Global Financials. This brand-new product, developed, in part, using Mendix, standardizes financial data across 41 different countries, allowing Dun & Bradstreet customers to make sound decisions across Risk, Supply, Compliance, and Business Intelligence functions. In this session, Richard Clarke and Howard Roberts will discuss how Mendix aids the Agile development process and will discuss the technological, architectural and SCRUM team subject arenas, and will relate ‘do’s’ and ‘don’ts’ from their experience alongside an honest assessment of the ‘good and the ‘bad’ of Agile product delivery.
