Mendix Customer LV= Insurance to Present its Fast-Track Innovation Approach at Gartner AADI Summit

LONDON – May 13, 2015 – Mendix, a leading Application Platform-as-a-Service (aPaaS) provider, today announced that its customer LV= Insurance will speak at the Gartner Application Architecture, Development & Integration (AADI) Summit. The conference is taking place May 18-19, 2015 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London, UK.

LV= Fast Track Innovation Director Rod Willmott will deliver a presentation entitled “Rapid Application Delivery in a Bimodal World” on Tuesday, May 19 at 1:15 p.m. Willmott will share how LV=’s shift to digital required a completely different approach, both in terms of how the insurer views its applications using Gartner’s Pace-Layered Application Strategy as well as how these applications are delivered using Mendix. Attendees will hear how Mendix enables business and IT to work together in short, iterative cycles. The result is that LV= is delivering innovative insurance applications in just weeks, and at a cost five to six times lower than through traditional development approaches.

Mendix will exhibit at the conference at Booth S11. The company will showcase how Mendix can help enterprises accelerate their digital transformation through fast, agile delivery of multi-channel applications. Attendees will also gain a better understanding of how Mendix can support their application landscape using Gartner’s Pace-Layered Application Strategy, as well as using the platform to create a ‘fast lane’ for innovation as part of a bimodal IT strategy.
