Generative AI with Mendix and AWS

AWS has a wide range of AI services that cover different types of AI and use cases:

Generative AI with Amazon Bedrock, which supports many leading foundation models, as well as knowledge bases and autonomous agents, for a wide range of sophisticated use cases.
Predictive AI/ML with Amazon SageMaker, a platform for designing, training, deploying, and managing ML models.
Pre-trained AI services, such as Amazon Textract for text processing, Amazon Translate for text translation, Amazon Rekognition for computer vision, and Amazon Policy for text-to-speech.

Three ways to augment Mendix applications with AWS AI:

Mendix Connector for Amazon Bedrock. This turns the integration of Gen AI into a low-code, drag-and-drop developer experience. Multiple foundational models, knowledge bases, and agents are all supported. Plus there is hands-on enablement content for AWS builders and Mendix developers.
Mendix ML Kit with Amazon SageMaker. Use the ML Kit to import ML models from Amazon SageMaker, and use them directly in your Mendix applications.
Mendix Connectors for AWS pre-trained AI services, including Amazon Textract, Translate, Rekognition, and Polly. These services are the easiest way to get started with AI-augmented application. The connectors take away all the complexity of the integration, including secure authentication.
