Customers of the Microsoft Azure platform & services now have access to Mendix’s rapid application development platform for innovative web, mobile and IoT applications

BOSTON – February 17, 2016 – Mendix, a leading provider of application Platform-as-a-Service (aPaaS), and Microsoft, today announced Mendix support for Microsoft Azure cloud platform & services and the availability of the Mendix platform in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. Through the combination of Mendix’s rapid application development capabilities and the Azure cloud platform & services, global IT teams can accelerate the delivery of modern, multi-channel applications and better support business demands.

Go-to-Market Highlights:

  • Mendix is available in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, allowing Azure customers seamless access to Mendix’s rapid application development capabilities as part of their existing enterprise account. Free and commercial editions are available.
  • The Mendix Free Edition provides a full-production platform for building and deploying unlimited applications with up to 10 users each. The Pro Edition offers multiple price bands, based on the number of application users and other factors.
  • Applications built on Mendix can now be deployed with one click to Azure or Cloud Foundry on Azure directly within the Mendix Business Modeler.
