New Mendix Salesforce.com Connector Enables Lightning-Speed, No-Code Development of Enterprise Apps
Instant connection allows companies to easily extend Salesforce.com and innovate with apps
BOSTON – October 15, 2014 – Mendix, the enterprise app platform as a service (aPaaS) company, today announced the availability of a new Salesforce.com Connector that allows organizations to rapidly extend Salesforce.com with any app using Mendix’s signature no-code, cloud app platform.
Many companies need to extend their Salesforce.com CRM systems with new apps that support unique and differentiating processes across the enterprise. The Mendix App Platform is ideal for rapidly building any enterprise app and extending virtually any system, including Salesforce.com, to meet new and changing business needs. Using Mendix’s no-code development capabilities, business and IT users can design complex application logic and engaging multi-device apps, without needing to learn and write complex code, such as Apex. Additionally, they have the flexibility to instantly deploy their apps anywhere: public cloud, private cloud or on premises.
Building upon these rapid development and deployment capabilities, the Mendix Salesforce.com Connector allows developers to instantly communicate with standard or custom objects in their company’s Salesforce.com instance, enabling out-of-the-box, bi-directional integration between the CRM and Mendix apps. As a result, Mendix gives Salesforce.com customers the flexibility of an open standards platform that seamlessly integrates with their existing Salesforce.com architecture.
“The Mendix App Platform is ideal for building apps that add to Salesforce.com and help companies innovate and compete in the market,” said Gottfried Sehringer, vice president of marketing for Mendix. “Our new Salesforce.com Connector makes the development process even faster and easier, allowing organizations to deliver engaging web and mobile applications that extend Salesforce.com orders of magnitude faster than traditional programming methods like Apex.”
The Mendix Salesforce.com Connector is available in the public Mendix App Store. To learn more about building apps on top of Salesforce.com with Mendix, visit https://www.mendix.com/press/new-mendix-salesforce-connector/.
