Vincent Lim is Mendix’s senior vice president for AsiaPac, where he leads business development and growth for one of the company’s most high growth regions. He is responsible for building the business infrastructure for sustainable hyper growth in AsiaPac by hiring excellent leaders and team members, building up the partners ecosystem, selling and marketing Mendix’s platform and solutions and ensuring customer successes.

Prior to joining Mendix, Vincent worked for two cloud/SaaS companies. He was the regional director for Southeast Asia for Apptio and the managing director for AsiaPac for CimbIOT. Over the course of the last 30 years, Vincent has worked in various AsiaPac regional and country business management positions, for Hewlett Packard, Cisco Systems, Microsoft and Oracle. Vincent started his career in IBM, working in its Tokyo office.

Lim attended the National University of Singapore, where he received his Bachelor’s in computer science. He then went on to receive his MBA from University of Leicester.

When not at work, Lim can be found in the park, amidst nature or in some street food joints that offer cheap and good food. Vincent is happily married to his wife Faith and they have four children.

Mendix microcosm: AsiaPac is the newest geo within Mendix, built up by a core group from EMEA, Siemens and new folks who joined us from the market. We represent a microcosm of what MX is elsewhere throughout the world.
