Mendix Enables Springer Healthcare to Enhance Operational Efficiency and Customer Service

Small team at leading scientific communications agency delivers new custom sales application on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices in 12 weeks

BOSTON and LONDON October 8, 2015 –  Mendix, a leader in driving digital innovation and provider of application Platform-as-a-Service (aPaaS), today announced that Springer Healthcare has selected the Mendix platform to rebuild and modernize a key global sales and operations application. Providing unified access to client information, quotes and more via desktop, tablet and mobile devices, the new application is designed to increase Springer Healthcare’s sales and operational efficiency whilst improving client service.

springer-healthcare-logoWorking with Mendix implementation partner, AuraQ, a team of only two developers delivered the application in just 12 weeks, versus an estimated year or more for traditional approaches. In addition to speed, Mendix helped Springer Healthcare ensure high adoption by engaging the business throughout the development process. The team built small pieces of functionality, shared them with users for feedback and iterated towards production. Going forward, non-technical users will request and implement improvements, supporting Springer Healthcare’s commitment to continued innovation in the dynamic healthcare market.

The new application integrates with Springer Healthcare’s existing SAP CRM and project management systems, supporting over 200 sales and operations staff globally. The next phase of development will extend the application to create a self-service portal for clients, further enhancing efficiencies and the overall client experience.
