Mendix on May 4, 2016
Are you a developer who wants to build the next Internet of Things (IoT) app? Then, the Mendix World 2016 Hackathon is an event you won’t want to miss. Our 24-hour, IoT-themed hackathon will take place June 7-8 at the Van Nelle Factory in Rotterdam.
During the hackathon, there will be several IoT use cases for developers to choose from, including an event app that leverages sensor data collected at Mendix World plus real customer use cases to be announced. Participants will have access to the KPN LoRa Network, a long-range network for connecting low-energy, low-data devices in order to facilitate rapid connectivity. In addition, all teams will be able to deploy with one click on AWS.
Join the estimated 60 Mendix developers that are expected to build IoT applications, with teams competing for prizes in Professional and Student categories. Audience voting will take place via the Mendix World event app and the winners will be announced during the plenary closing remarks on the closing day of Mendix World.
Mendix World 2016 has a strong focus on the Internet of Things and driving digital innovation through modern application delivery. The agenda includes a mix of inspiring and practical content for Mendix developers.
